The Problem

A leading entrepreneur, who is considered the pioneer of Radio Taxis in India, was exploring a new venture in Road Safety Training arena. He had the product concept and business plan ready. However, the venture was a bit slow in taking off. The Client requested SM for strategic intervention and guiding the marketing team to accelerate the execution.

SM Solution

SM analyzed the situation and charted out the following course of actions:

  1. Identified ‘educational institutions’ as the launch pad for the product. SM shortlisted the key institutions and opened a dialogue with them on behalf of the client. SM managed to close the initial collaborations with prime institutes before handing over the mantle to the Client’s team.
  2. SM strategized, identified and facilitated a JV with a German company that is global leader in the field of road safety. This JV put the start up on a global map. In addition to the robust credibility, this JV helped the Client in getting a state-of-the-art back end support.
  3. SM developed a detailed calendar of ‘Strategic Initiatives’ for the ‘Sales and Marketing Department’
  4. For the initial period, SM mentored the BD team till it became self-reliant to carry the ball further.
  5. The project today is progressing well and surpassing the Client’s expectations.
